Randomly found this photo on the web of Steve and I at last year’s Streamy Awards. Tumbling only because we hardly have any good photos of us together. Plus, it’s our five year anniversary tomorrow. :)

Depending on your point of view, a dandelion is either a valuable herb — a source of iron and vitamin A, with many medicinal qualities — or a weed that invades your garden. “A weed is a beautiful plant in an unwanted place,” he says. “An herb is the same plant where it is wanted. Who decides if something is a weed or an herb? Society does.

Mark Up is an online statement of solidarity in support of a web that should remain open, free and healthy. It’s similar in concept to an online petition where everyone is invited to add their signature, name or mark. Each mark is rendered in 3D using HTML5 and connected end-to-end to form a continuous line, representing a unified global statement on the fundamental importance of an open and free internet.

The camera’s plenoptic sensor collects directional data that allows software to recognize when objects are on different planes. That means you can change the focal point of the photo even after you’re done shooting. You can also peek “behind” edges of objects in the foreground.

Very excited for this one.

’Brave’ is set in the mystical Scottish Highlands, where Merida is the princess of a kingdom ruled by King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). An unruly daughter and an accomplished archer, Merida (Kelly Macdonald) one day defies a sacred custom of the land and inadvertently brings turmoil to the kingdom. In an attempt to set things right, Merida seeks out an eccentric old Wise Woman (Julie Walters) and is granted an ill-fated wish. Also figuring into Merida’s quest – and serving as comic relief – are the kingdom’s three lords: the enormous Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), the surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson), and the disagreeable Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane).
