This is the most bizarre commercial I’ve seen in a while. I had to go to the site to make sure it wasn’t a joke.

The next thing I did was Google High Point, NC - the 6th search result was a furniture directory site. When I clicked on that, I saw it had a listing of all the furniture stores in High Point, all except — dah, dah, dum — The Red House.

Why is The Red House excluded from the main listing of furniture stores in High Point? Hmmm…

Then I simply went to the YouTube page and found the producers of the video - RhettandLink. They’re a comedy team, and go on to say:

“This video is an attempt to use humor to spark a discussion about race issues, because we still have a long way to go.”

It’s definitely started a discussion. Brilliant. Now I’m watching all of their videos! :)
