I’ve been anticipating Vampire Weekend’s sophomore album, Contra, for some time. We featured them on Epic Fu in early 2008 and got hooked on their sound: indie-pop meets light afro-caribbean beat. It’s not hard to like. The album isn’t releasing until the 12th in the States, but KCRW is streaming the album now, so you can have a listen. Yeah, there’s also a free copy floating around, but remember to support indie artists if you enjoy the album.
