Infusions Series | Clifford Briggie.
“Infusions” examines the visual dynamics of interpenetrating liquids and how they affect form, color and movement. In these photographic images, examples of Transient Art, a diversity of forms enter and exit each other in an orgy of movement and—sometimes—color. Radically altered forms result from the encounters. The infusion of colored liquid into clear or previously-colored liquid does not merely add color. The materials and forms collide and embrace unpredictably, mindlessly, mercilessly, sometimes devouring, digesting, dominating, possessing, or annihilating; other times slowly, easily, and gently blending in a dance that, similarly unpredictable, looks mutual and reciprocal.
