Why Americans Don’t Like Jazz

The reason I love jazz is because I can lose myself in it, because it’s open to interpretation, because it’s different every time… same with an abstract piece of art. Kind of disappointed to hear that it’s only 3 percent of the market share, though I guess I’m not surprised.

Not sure that all Americans don’t like jazz though. Wondering if it really is a cultural occurrence, like the writer suggests.
